A Lifelong Commitment to Care

My journey in healthcare began at just 16 years old, working side by side with my mother, a dedicated nurse who inspired in me a deep respect for compassion, skill, and service. From those early days, I learned that caring for others is more than a profession; it’s a calling rooted in empathy, resilience, and human connection.

Over the years, I’ve built my career on that foundation, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of care settings and developing a patient-centered approach that prioritizes dignity, understanding, and trust. Whether supporting patients through recovery, managing complex needs, or offering comfort during life’s most difficult moments, I have always believed that the smallest acts of care often have the greatest impact.

My professional path has also been profoundly shaped by personal experiences. I had the privilege, and the heartbreak, of caring for my husband at home during his illness, when he passed away at just 41 years old. In the years that followed, I also cared for his mother in my own home throughout the final three years of her life, providing steady support, compassion, and advocacy during her journey.

My career ultimately came full circle in the most meaningful way. In the final weeks of my mother’s life, I had the profound honor of caring for her, returning the compassion she so freely gave to others and the lessons she first instilled in me. Those last three weeks were a deeply personal reminder of why I chose this path: to provide comfort, preserve dignity, and bring compassion to every stage of life.

Today, I carry both professional expertise and a deeply personal understanding into every interaction, guided by the values that have shaped me from the very beginning.

My oldest son, the first grandchild, gave my mother the name “Minnie,” and it became the name she was known by far and wide. Today, Minnie's Angels Homecare & Family Support is more than a name; it is the legacy of her love, her compassion, and the example she set, one I hope will continue to inspire and serve generations to come.
